When my wife binge-watched every one of my childhood home videos, she noticed something peculiar. For some reason, my parents had video taped every Christmas morning's gift opening hysteria. At the end of each year's openings, the camera would show my close-in-age brother playing excitedly with new toys and gadgets. When the camera moves to me--every year--I'm reading the manual for the new toys and gadgets.
I still read the manual. All the manuals. And now technology seems to be an open book for me.
The early roots of design came to me through story-telling. A good book or a great movie could change my life. And so I began leveraging technology for all kinds of mediums (music, video, graphic, audio, lighting, web, etc.) to connect with people's hearts and tell some kind of good story.
